New to the site! Friend brought me in and I'm seeing how I like it so far.

I kinda prefer humanoids/original worlds, but I'm not sure where to go for that and to ask what people would be interested or where to actually keep the roleplay. Tried to hop through a few threads to verify it myself but I couldn't find anything. In all seriousness, though, I'm prooooobably staring right at it.

(Also, side note, is there anywhere to put character profiles?)

As for where to put roleplays - literally anywhere lol. Most people place the sign ups (where you post your character's Forum) in the board of which their roleplay is based around (i.e an apocalyptic roleplay in the apocalyptic board) and then create a separate thread for chatting/plotting and another for Roleplay. Usually all in the same area. However, OOC stuff should go in the OOC discussion area.

I have a few odd concepts floating around, but really this is mostly just Does Anyone Fantasy-Oriented Wanna Make Some Shenanigans Happen.

Probably-important info/preferences!:

-My writing length varies from a paragraph or two to Whoops I Broke The Discord Character Limit Twice, depending on the roleplay, so the more the merrier when it comes to length of paragraphs and words! (Prefer clear grammar tho since it makes communication easier)
-I prefer making private Discord servers so it's easier to organize things, especially with side characters

-Shipping. Love it. Especially if we get fluff and angst for the ship, probably in angst-to-fluff order

-Mostly for medieval fantasy though I can go with some semblance of sci-fi-fantasy if that works better!

-Not super Big-Plot oriented! I actually kinda prefer a narrower focus on two-ish characters

-There's a 99% chance my character's going to be some semblance of gremlin, whether that is soft gremlin or other gremlin

-Angst? Angst. And whump. And did I mention angst yet?

-Not hugely one for horror (at all, really), but I'm willing to attempt a sort-of-apocalypse type setting depending on what we do

-Humans/humanoids are my thing and for some reason I can't work out how to feel the Hell Yeah feeling when rping as a non-human-only character

I don't really have any characters fully made yet, aside from one that miiight end up being used in an already-existing rp world with one of my friends, so this'd probably start with convening on what world/setting we want to do and all that.

Also before I end the post, this isn't like,,, a one person thing. Whoever the hecky wants to try n start a roleplay can scree here and I can yeet my Discord tag or something! I crave rp. Lots of rp. Needs the more.

Ah, knew I forgot to include something. I only do original worlds/characters since roleplaying in fandoms makes me weirdly uncomfortable. Doesn't feel right to play a character I didn't make, y'know?

Update, still looking for people to roleplay with! I found a great site that allows human character making (and I mean HIGH FREAKIN QUALITY character making) and also landscaping, so it might be fun to use that a bunch!
